Board & Train
"I just wanted to say what a fantastic job you all do at Dog Trouble. Luna is always so well looked after, I get useful feedback on her and I can tell she is happy and confident when I drop her off and pick her up. The office are always so accommodating to my often last minute requests. I just want to say a big thank you to you all for your hard work and care."
DETAILS
We require your dog to have previously attended a behaviour consultation/workshop with Jo Cottrell before being considered for our board & train service, if they have behaviour issues. Please contact the office via info@dogtrouble.co.uk for more information.
Our Board & Train service enables us to work with your dog on basic behaviour training in addition to the current provision during their stay with us. It is a perfect way to providing your dog with basic training or a 'Top up' each time they stay with us to get them back on track whilst you are on your vacation.
Daily training activities include:
Walking respectfully on lead
Pack Walks with other dogs
Off Lead/Long Line Socialisation with dogs in a secure area
For dogs staying 6+ nights additional activities may include:
Basic Training - Sit, Stay, Recall
Essential Oils treatment
Socialisation in public areas
At the end of the 6+ night stay we will provide you with a brief training report to enable you to continue the training work at home. Additional coaching sessions can be booked to teach you the practical skills and understanding to enable your dog to maintain their progress.
We are passionate about helping dogs become more balanced, happy dogs during and beyond their stay with us.
Please Note:
This programme is not suitable for dogs exhibiting aggression issues that have not attended a consultation/workshop/boot camp prior to their Board & Train stay with us.
The Dog Trouble Team are fully trained in identifying and addressing dog behaviour issues, in addition to maintaining balance within a pack. Unlike other facilities, dogs are matched in groups according to their personality and energy, ensuring that each dog has a positive experience during their stay and are not practicing unbalanced behaviour.
NOTE: We accept vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, and hepatitis (this is sometimes called DHP or DHPP or DHPPi) within the last 3 years OR a titre test to prove immunity. We do not insist on Annual vaccinations or vaccination against Canine Infectious Bronchitis (Kennel Cough).
Please upload a copy of the vaccination certificate or titre test to your dog’s Kennelbooker profile. This can be done in your Pets information section.
