Psyllium Husks are a soluble dietary fibre. A useful herbal remedy for canine health care.

USES:

  • Bowels
  • A useful supplement for dogs which can be hugely beneficial for aiding the normal functioning of a dog’s digestion and bowel.
  • These naturally occurring husks can absorb ten times their own weight in water so will add bulk to your dog’s stools and in turn aid both constipation or diarrhoea.

Suggested dosages: Measure out the dry husks, then add water to make a gel. More water can be added if necessary in cases of constipation. Mixed with fiberous vegetable & water can aid anal gland clearance.

  • Small dogs (10-18kg) 5g 1-3 times a day
  • Medium/large dogs (20-40+kg) 10g 1-3 times a day
  • Cats 1-2g per day

Ingredients: Pure Psyllium Husks 150g

A word of caution:

Psyllium can be a little drying in the system so it isn’t something we recommend daily over a long period of time, ensure plenty of fluids are on offer.
